Hospital Blog – Day 5: On My Way Out

Yeah! Finally, after doing nothing much since Wednesday (May 20, the day I got confined), my doctor has given me the green light to be discharged.

Tomorrow (May 25, Monday), I’m officially out of the hospital, my home for the past five days.

The pain on my left eye is completely gone, the swelling is also gone. I just need to take on oral medication for the next few days to ensure that any remnant bacteria be completely “killed” from within my system.

Feels good to be out of the hospital—free from IV needle (especially since I had it reinserted eight times!) and free from the possibility of contracting other airborne virus.

My wife and I ended this day with a prayer of thanksgiving to God.

He not only healed me, but He also demonstrated once more His goodness and even His power over my situation.

Ephesians 6:10 is a perfect reminder that man’s best effort to counter any form of fear, discouragement or worry is inadequate, but that the Lord’s power is more than enough.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

Yeah! God’s power, should we decide to tap on to it — is invincible!
